A Slice of Heaven Cake

Ingredients
  

  • Cake Base:
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar 12 oz caramel sauce
  • Toppings:
  • 1 tub 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup crushed toffee bits such as Heath bars
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Bake the Cake
  • Preheat the oven and prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions.
  • Bake in a 9×13-inch dish. Let the cake cool slightly before moving to the next step.
  • Step 2: Infuse with Flavor
  • Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  • Drizzle half of the caramel sauce evenly on top. Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb.
  • Step 3: Add Toppings
  • Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  • Sprinkle crushed toffee bits and chocolate chips on top.
  • Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce for an extra indulgent finish.
  • Step 4: Chill & Serve
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours (overnight is best!).
