Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • cup selfrising flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips semisweet or milk

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the selfrising flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Mug
  • Pour the dry ingredients into a 12ounce microwavesafe mug that has been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Make a small well in the center of the dry mixture.
  • Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients
  • Pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir the mixture until well combined and smooth.
  • Step 4: Add Chocolate Chips
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the batter and stir them in lightly.
  • Step 5: Microwave
  • Microwave the mug cake for 70 to 75 seconds, depending on your microwave's wattage. The center should be just set and not too wet.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
  • Let the cake cool for a minute, then enjoy your delicious, warm chocolate mug cake right from the mug!
