Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper diced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: Prepare the Pie Crust
  • Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and poke holes in the bottom with a fork.
  • Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the shrimp until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let them cool slightly before chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Step 4: Make the Filling
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together:
  • Heavy cream
  • Eggs
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the cooked shrimp, cheddar cheese, green onions, and red bell pepper until everything is well combined.
  • Step 5: Assemble the Pie
  • Pour the shrimp mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  • Step 6: Bake
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.
  • Step 7: Cool and Serve
  • Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and extra flavor before serving.
