Step 1: Cook the Beef Mixture
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, diced onions, and minced garlic for 57 minutes or until the meat is browned and the onions are soft.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring continuously.
Step 2: Create the Sauce
Pour in beef broth, minced onion flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 12 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, stirring until smooth and combined.
Step 3: Assemble the Casserole
Transfer the beef mixture into a greased 9x13” baking dish.
Stir in diced potatoes and carrots, making sure everything is evenly mixed.
Top with the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 4: Bake
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 3035 minutes, or until the potatoes and carrots are forktender.
Remove the foil and bake for 5 more minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and bubble.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
Sprinkle with dried parsley before serving.
