Jello Creamsicle Pie Recipe

Ingredients
For the Crust:

Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Crust
Spray a deep pie dish with nostick spray.
Pulse the shortbread cookies in a food processor until they reach a sandlike consistency.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and mix well.
Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish to form the crust.
Place the pie dish in the freezer while you make the filling.
Step 2: Make the Orange Flavor
Rinse out the food processor, then add the orange slices, orange zest, vanilla extract, and orange juice.
Puree the mixture until smooth and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Filling Base
In a stand mixer (or large mixing bowl with a hand mixer), combine 8 ounces of cream cheese and the Jello mix. Beat until smooth and well combined.
Step 4: Make It Fluffy
Fold in the sweetened condensed milk along with 8 ounces of Cool Whip. Mix gently to combine.
Step 5: Combine the Orange Mixture
Beat the orange juice mixture into the filling until smooth.
Step 6: Assemble the Pie
Pour the creamy filling into the prepared pie crust.
Step 7: Chill
Chill the pie in the fridge for a couple of hours for a softserve texture, or pop it in the freezer for about an hour for a firmer, frozen texture.
Step 8: Make the Topping
Whip the remaining 4 ounces of cream cheese and Cool Whip together until smooth and fluffy.
Step 9: Garnish and Serve
Spread the whipped cream cheese mixture on top of the pie.
Garnish with orange slices for a beautiful finish.
Notes
Storage: Keep the pie stored in the fridge for up to 45 days.
Addins: Try mixing in some chopped chocolate or mini marshmallows for an extra treat!
